Freeways reopen after closure due to deadly 2-vehicle crash

GOODYEAR, Ariz. (AP) — Portions of two freeways on the wide side of metro Phoenix are open again after being closed much of Friday morning due to a deadly crash.
Eastbound Interstate 10 and southbound Loop 303 reopened about five hours after the crash occurred shortly after midnight.
The state Department of Public Safety says one person was killed in a two-vehicle wreck that is still under investigation.
