Flagstaff breaks record for snow, closes city down

Flagstaff faced the brunt of the winter storm hitting Arizona, getting so much snow, it broke records.Mother nature dumped nearly three feet of snow with 35.9 inches on Thursday. That breaks a century old record for snowfall in one day, which was set back in December of 1915.
The city has now declared a state of emergency, which makes it eligible for state money to help with snow removal if need be. All non-essential city services, NAU and public schools are closed in Flagstaff Friday.The post
