Ex-Apache Junction school superintendent indicted for theft
PHOENIX (AP) — An Arizona grand jury has indicted the former superintendent of the Apache Junction Unified School District for theft and misuse of public monies.
State prosecutors say 49-year-old Chad Wilson is accused of awarding school administrators more than $133,000 in unauthorized compensation.
An investigation was conducted by the Office of the Auditor General about Wilson’s tenure as a school district superintendent in Apache Junction from 2009 to 2017.
