Electronic shuttle service to be implemented at Sabino Canyon

TUCSON – A new shuttle service is coming to the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area thanks to a new project with the Regional Partnering Center.
According to officials, the Regional Partnering Center will implement a fully-electric, zero-emission shuttle system. The group said the shuttles will be open-air and will be able to seat 62 passengers. It will also have an electronic fare payment system, an audio narration system and a multilingual interpretive system.
