Egypt’s lawmakers to vote on deploying troops to Libya
CAIRO (AP) — Egypt’s parliament is to vote to authorize the country’s president to deploy troops to war-torn Libya if Turkey-backed forces allied with the U.N.-supported government in Tripoli move to retake the strategic coastal city of Sirte.
