East side charter school to close Friday

TUCSON – An east side charter school will shut its doors at the end of the week.
Parents got notice of the closure at Desert Springs Academy on Tuesday. They will have to find a new school for their children for the New Year.
“I’m very disappointed. We’ve been here two years now and it’s just disheartening,” said parent Adam Misse. “And nobody even knew.”
