Ducey to appoint McSally to John McCain’s Senate seat
PHOENIX – Governor Doug Ducey announced Tuesday morning that Representative Martha McSally will be appointed to late Senator’s John McCain’s seat.
Senator Jon Kyl was appointed to the Senate in September and will be resigning on Dec. 31.
McSally lost the Senate race to Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema.
She will serve until the 2020 election, when voters will elect someone to serve the final two years of McCain’s term.
