Douglas HS to implement clear bag policy after students protest over safety concerns

DOUGLAS, Ariz. – More than 100 Douglas High School students held a protest Friday amid recent concerns over Wednesday’s soft lockdown.
On Wednesday, Douglas Police Department was dispatched to the school after they received reports from faculty members that there might be a gun on campus. The school was placed on lockdown. After further investigation, DPD discovered that the weapon was on campus the day before, prompting the lockdown to be lifted.
