Democrat files subpoena for Kentucky House Speaker
FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — A Democrat whose one-vote victory for a Kentucky House seat is being challenged by his Republican rival has filed a subpoena for the incoming GOP House speaker.
The Kentucky State Board of Elections certified Democrat Jim Glenn’s victory over Republican DJ Johnson in House District 13. But Johnson has asked the Republican-controlled House of Representatives to conduct a recount.
