Cunningham helps Jacksonville St. hold off Evansville 55-50

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) — Christian Cunningham had 13 points to go with 15 rebounds as Jacksonville State held off Evansville 55-50 on Saturday to give the Aces their first home loss this season.
Cunningham pulled down six offensive rebounds. Jason Burnell posted 12 points with 10 rebounds and two blocks and Ty Hudson drained 4 of 5 from long range to total 14 points.
Trailing 53-50, Evansville had a chance to tie but Evan Kuhlman missed a wide-open 3-point attempt with three seconds left. C
