Crash closes large stretch of Houghton Rd.

A serious accident on Tucson's southeast side shut down a long stretch of road Friday morning. A portion of Houghton Rd is closed in both directions (south of I-10) between Andrada Rd. and Dawn Rd. while Tucson Police Officers investigate a serious injury collision.  TPD is encouraging drivers to use an alternate route such as Wentworth Rd to travel north & south in the area.
