Convicted murderer accused of assaulting attorney

TUCSON – A Tucson man convicted of murdering his girlfriend caused a scene in the courtroom after the verdict was read, according to court documents.
A jury found Chet Maley guilty of stabbing Roxanne Ortiz to death in 2016, on Friday.
After the verdict was handed down, Maley physically assaulted one of his attorneys, according to the record. Maley was then removed from the courtroom.
Maley will be sentenced on the first degree premeditated murder, felony murder, kidnapping and domestic v
