Construction continues on Jan. 8 memorial

TUCSON - At the historic presidio courtyard in downtown Tucson, adjacent to the old Pima County Courthouse, work continues on a permanent January 8th memorial.
On Jan. 8, 2011 six people were killed and 13 others wounded in a mass shooting during a Congress On Your Corner event inside the Safeway at Inaand Oracle roads. Former Tucson Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was shot in the head.
