Columbia hits record 17 3-pointers in 85-38 win

NEW YORK (AP) — Gabe Stefanini hit a career-high seven 3-pointers and scored 23 points and Columbia made a school-record 17 3s in beating St. Joseph’s (Brooklyn) 85-38 on Sunday for its first win of the season.
The Lions have made 16 3-pointers in a game four times, most recently against Cornell last January.
Stefanini made 7 of 9 3-point attempts and the Lions hit 17 of 44 from distance, two attempts shy of the school record.
