City plans park improvements after prop 407 passes

TUCSON – The voters spoke on November 6 and passed Prop 407.
It will grant $225 million in general obligation bonds to improve city park amenities.
“Wednesday, the day after the big election, I probably was doing cartwheels with my parks bond team and shared the excitement of the community just knowing that probably after a decade of seeing, due to budget circumstances, the condition of our parks just slowly decline,” said Brent Dennis, City of Tucson Parks and Recreation Direc
