Canada ‘disappointed’ by British decision on Jihadi Jack

TORONTO (AP) — Canada says it is disappointed the United Kingdom has decided to “off-load their responsibilities” after the British Home Office revoked the citizenship of a dual citizen of the two countries imprisoned in Syria.
Canadian Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale confirmed Sunday in statement that Jack Letts, a British-Canadian man dubbed Jihadi Jack by the media who has been behind bars in a Kurdish prison since 2017, has been stripped of his British citizenship.
