Bournemouth beats Crystal Palace 2-1 on late penalty in EPL

BOURNEMOUTH, England (AP) — Mamadou Sakho elbowed Jefferson Lerma in the face and conceded the penalty which Bournemouth converted to beat Crystal Palace 2-1 in the English Premier League on Monday.
Substitute Junior Stanislas hit the winner in the 87th minute for Bournemouth to climb from ninth to seventh in the standings.
Palace remained 13th.
Bournemouth went ahead early when David Brooks curled in a pass from Callum Wilson.
