Border wall contract awarded

YUMA, AZ – The Barnard Construction Company has been awarded a base contract of $172 million by U.S Customs and Border Protection and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Barnard Construction is tasked with constructing 32 miles of primary pedestrian replacement wall. The wall will run along the U.S Border Patrol’s Yuma and Tucson sectors.
Construction is scheduled to begin April 2019.
