Border Patrol: ‘Smugglers use children as a diversion’

TUCSON – U.S. Border Patrol agents say they arrested a 32-year-old woman who had 160 packages of methamphetamine hidden inside her SUV.
Agents say, the woman also had her two minor children in the car, which is a repeat of a smuggling incident on Tuesday.
Wednesday evening a woman driving a silver Nissan Murano was sent to a secondary inspection area at the Interstate 8 checkpoint after a Border Patrol K-9 team alerted agents about possible drugs in the vehicle.
