Border Patrol arrests eight people at Arizona checkpoint

TUCSON – U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested a suspected human smuggler and seven others at the Interstate 8 Immigration Checkpoint earlier this week.
Authorities said a U.S. citizen tried to smuggle the seven undocumented immigrants from Mexico around the checkpoint early Wednesday morning.
Agents said man was stopped in a Ford E350 van near Dome Valley, as he was trying to blend in with traffic.
CBP said the Mexican nationals inside the van raged in age from 14 to 36.
