Border patrol agent assaulted

PATAGONIA, Ariz. (AP) – The U.S. Border Patrol says an Ecuadorian man assaulted an agent on a mountain trail in southern Arizona after the Ecuadorian and two Mexican men apparently crossed the U.S.-Mexico border illegally.
The Border Patrol says neither the agent nor the Ecuadorian required medical attention after being evaluated at a Border Patrol station after the Wednesday night incident near Patagonia.
