Body found near Lake Michigan identified as missing swimmer

HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. (AP) — Officials say a person found dead along the Lake Michigan shoreline north of Chicago is a woman who disappeared while swimming with a group of people in treacherous waters last week.
The Lake County coroner’s office said Tuesday that the body has been identified as that of 52-year-old Lena Lemesh. She was from the Chicago suburb of Elgin.
