Board approves funding for Gridley fire alarm system

TUCSON – Gridley Middle School will be getting a new fire alarm system.
The Tucson Unified School District Board and the State School Facilities Board voted to fund the upgrade at the TUSD School Board meeting on Tuesday, January 15th.
Gridley has been in a state of emergency since December when officials discovered their fire alarm system was not working.
The State Fire Marshal required a “fire watch” to protect students, staff, and the public.
