Blood pressure medication recall

The FDA has issued a voluntary recall on a widely used blood pressure medication.It’s called Losartan. Losartan is made by the pharmaceutical company Sandoz. Sandoz announce they are recalling the drug after trace amounts of a possible cancer-causing chemical was found. The recall is only for the 100 milligram/25 milligram tablets. The lot number is JB8912.
Those taking the medication are asked to consult their doctors, before getting off the medication.
