AZGFD catch and release nuisance bear in Galiuro Mountains

TUCSON – The Arizona Game and Fish Department recently captured and released a nuisance bear in the Galiuro Mountains.
According to AZGFD, the bear was captured in the Santa Rita Mountains. The bear was captured because it kept foraging garbage in a residential area near Apache Springs.AZGFD advises securing all food and garbage in areas where bears are present.
