Authorities urging drivers to be patient when heading up Mt. Lemmon

TUCSON — Pima County officials are urging drivers to be patient with everyone trying to head to Mt. Lemmon.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department states that Catalina Highway leading up to the mountain is open, but drivers will experience delays.
Officials say with a lot of people trying to head up the mountain, there is a lot of congestion in the recreational areas and the road.
Currently one vehicle is allowed up the mountain, when a vehicle leaves.
