Arizona sees drop in reported COVID-19 cases

PHOENIX (KVOA) - 610 Arizonans tested positive for the coronavirus Saturday, according to the state's dashboard.ADHS also reported 16 more lives lost to the virus.Hundreds of the new cases are from antigen tests from several months ago, according to the Arizona Department of Health Services.Arizona now reports 213,551 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 5,451 known deaths.Deaths are not recorded until the health department receives a death certificate naming COVID-19 as the cause of death.
