Arizona fire crews asked to help with California wildfires

TUCSON – Nearly 120 firefighters and 34 engines from Arizona arrived in California over the last few days to assist with handling the multiple wildfires burning within the state, according to the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management.
Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management officials first received an order for 10 fire engines to head to California last Thursday. On Sunday, California fire officials requested an additional 24 engines.
