ADOT: Charitable causes see record proceeds from specialty plate sales

PHOENIX – Charitable causes are seeing record proceeds from specialty plate sales, Arizona Department of Transportation announced Wednesday.
The department said $11.2 million were raised in the fiscal year 2019. The money was used to support Arizona veteran programs, Special Olympics, organ donation, hunger relief, university scholarships.
