A polar bear cub at the Berlin Zoo had its very first check-up.
A veterinarian examined the 11-week old bear. He described her as big and strong.
The cub had been alone with her mother up until this point.
Zoo visitors will have to wait until March to see the sub. That’s when she is expected to safety follow her mother outside.
