A Good Samaritan was stabbed to death while helping panhandler

BALTIMORE – A Good Samaritan and mother was killed after trying to help someone in need in Baltimore.
Jacquelyn Smith and her husband, Keith, were driving home from a night out dancing. The couple was celebrating their daughter’s birthday when they saw a woman in need.
The woman was carrying what looked to be an infant in her arms in the rain. She was also holding a sign that read “please help me feed my b aby.”
Keith said his wife felt moved to give her some money.
