3.4 Magnitude Earthquake hits southern California

A small earthquake was recorded in the Mojave Desert Wednesday evening.
The 3.4 magnitude earthquake was centered about 8 km east-southeast of Lucerne Valley according to the United States Geological Survey.
Lucerne Valley is located in the southern Mojave Desert, within western San Bernardino County, California.
There were no immediate reports of any damage caused by the quake.
