3-year-old girl dead being pulled from pool in Queen Creek

QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. (AP) — The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office says a 3-year-old girl has died after being pulled from a pool at a Queen Creek home.
The Sheriff’s Office says deputies were first on the scene Friday night and performed life-saving measures until paramedics and firefighters arrived and took over before the child was flown to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
It’s not clear how long the girl was under water.
