$1.4 million Batman comic collection stolen in Florida

BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) — A Florida man is reaching out to the comic-collecting community, hoping to reclaim nearly 450 valuable comic books that were recently stolen. The Sun Sentinel reports that Randy Lawrence posted on social media last week that his registered Batman and Detective Comics collection valued at $1.4 million was stolen from an air-conditioned storage unit in Boca Raton.
