1 dead, 3 seriously injured after 2 cars collide in Phoenix

PHOENIX (AP) — Authorities say a man is dead and three other people seriously injured after a car crash in west Phoenix.
Police say an SUV swerved into oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle around 7 a.m. Sunday.
They say 27-year-old Rodolfo Gaitan Jr. was driving the SUV and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two passengers — a 28-year-old woman and young girl — were taken to a hospital in extremely critical condition.
