Vandals strike Catholic missionary statue in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles officials say vandals have defaced a statue of Father Junipero (hoo-NEE-perr-oh) Serra, the 18th century missionary canonized by Pope Francis.
