Utah investigating allegations lawmaker hired prostitute

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The Utah House of Representatives was investigating Thursday whether a lawmaker who abruptly resigned used a state-issued cellphone and hotel room paid for with taxpayer money to arrange trysts with a prostitute.
