Skywatch: See a comet in the eastern sky this week
Sunday: For the next few mornings, a comet is visible in the east. The comet — know as C/2015 ER61 PanSTARRS — will be about 10 degrees above the horizon at 6 a.m. You will need binoculars to find the comet; a finder chart will help locate it. If you cannot spot the comet before Tuesday, wait until next week, when the moon has cleared the morning sky.
