Shannon Kepler denied new trial on misdemeanor convictions

District Judge Sharon Holmes said during the hearing that the sentences should stand for the former police officer on two counts of reckless conduct with a firearm. Kepler's defense sought to merge the counts so that he would only serve a maximum of six months at the Tulsa Jail.
