School storm shelters: Springdale Elementary first of 20 schools selected for one

Storm safety has been high on the list of Rebecca Bacon’s concerns since she became principal at Springdale Elementary and its 91-year-old school building. Thanks to cutting-edge construction technology, Bacon will soon be able to check that concern off of her list.
