Oklahoma child welfare improvement plan gets extension to implement changes

With goals yet to be met, officials will have more time to implement the Pinnacle Plan, the settlement of a class-action lawsuit that had alleged abuses of children in the foster-care system. It was an ambitious five-year plan to improve the system for abused and neglected children taken into the state's care.
