Kentucky judge who refused to handle gay adoptions resigns

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky's judicial disciplinary commission says a judge who declared his conscientious objection to handling adoption cases involving gay and lesbian adults is resigning from the bench.
