Cargo ship crash, spill, closes river at New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The Coast Guard says a cargo ship hit a pier and spilled 4,200 gallons (15,900 liters) of fuel oil, and 10 miles (16 kilometers) of the Mississippi River were closed for the cleanup.
