Brewer, Brooks help Tulsa run over Houston for 45-17 win

D'Angelo Brewer ran for 140 yards and a touchdown, Shamari Brooks rushed for 111 yards and another score as Tulsa pulled away in the second half for a 45-17 victory over Houston on Saturday. McKinley Whitfield had a 52-yard interception return and Chad President ran in from a yard out three plays later to pull the Golden Hurricane within 10-7 at halftime.
