Zoo kicks off lights display

Santa Claus flips the switch to illuminate the giant tree and officially kick off the 30th anniversary of the Toledo Zoo’s Lights Before Christmas. Hours for the holiday attrac-tion are 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 3 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The zoo is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. Admission is $12 for children ages 2-11 and seniors 60 and older, and $15 for ages 12-59.
