Whiteford eventually puts away Summerfield

OTTAWA LAKE — A tip drill is something every football team practices every so often. A tipped pass by Whiteford defensive back Herbie Bertz was perhaps the biggest play of Friday’s game as the Bobcats beat archrival Summerfield, 50-28, to advance to the second round of Michigan’s Division 8 playoffs.
