Welltower announces project

Welltower Inc., the Toledo real estate trust that focuses on health-care properties, and Hines, a private global real estate firm based in New York, said Tuesday they have joined to acquire land in midtown Manhattan where they will demolish structures and build a 15-story senior living community with retail at the base.
