Wauseon man found guilty of rape: I 'lost it'

Arnoldo "A.J." Lerma, Jr., told Toledo police he "lost it for 10 seconds" when he pummeled his former girlfriend's face at her home in Point Place last October. On Friday, a jury in Lucas County Common Pleas Court found Lerma, 30, of Wauseon guilty of rape, kidnapping, felonious assault, and disrupting public service for an attack prosecutors said was not a 10-second beating, but "a two-day nightmare" for the victim.
