Waniewski declares run for Toledo mayor

Tom Waniewski, the Republican district councilman from West Toledo, officially launched his mayoral campaign Wednesday, promising to cut city spending, make sure the municipal capital improvement fund is no longer tapped for other expenses, and to quickly sign a regional water authority agreement.
