Walk puts canine, owner in holiday spirit

Martha Shearman takes her 11-year-old Labrador retriever, Lily, for a Christmas Eve walk at Fort Miamis park near their home in Maumee. Both owner and canine were decked out for the holiday. Ms. Shearman says she and Lily take daily walks to help the older dog keep in shape. Today should be fine for Lily’s walks as skies are expected to be mostly cloudy, but forecasters are calling for rain on Saturday.
